Research facility Amersfoort, Netherlands

AirLull^® has been tested at a Data Center Research Facility in Amersfoort the Netherlands. In a 100 m2 (1000 sq ft) data center a maximum of 600kW heat load can be simulated in a setup with approx. 40 standard 19 inch cabinets (loads up to 6000 W/m2 or 560W/sq ft). UpTime Products was allowed to use this facility to test and to tune the AirLull control mechanism. Now the facility is also used for demonstration purposes for prospective clients.

Load banks in cabinets allow us to generate adhoc loads to 600kw. A standard demonstration regime is to go from standing start and then add load in 150kw increments to 600kw over a 30 minute period on a single 600kw cell. The controls simply auto adapt to this load change.








Black Beauty is a one of a kind 100kW cabinet. This specially loaded cabinet is a conventional chimney cabinet loaded with 5x20kw of heat sources. We created this cabinet to prove to the world that there is no practical maximum to the amount of load that can be air cooled.
